Company registration in Bulgaria: EOOD, OOD and branches
We take you from the first call to a registered company that is ready to trade, with the accounting, tax and VAT set up correctly from the start.
Who it’s for
- Founders starting their first company
- Foreign companies opening a subsidiary or branch in Bulgaria
- Freelancers moving their activity into a company
Most businesses in Bulgaria start as an EOOD (single-member limited liability company) or an OOD (limited liability company with several members). Foreign companies can also open a branch. Each form has different consequences for liability, management and tax, and the right choice depends on your plans.
We help you choose, prepare the founding documents and handle the registration in the Commercial Register. Because we also do accounting and VAT, your company is set up correctly for tax from the first day, including VAT registration where needed.

Common questions
What is the difference between an EOOD and an OOD?
Both are limited liability companies. An EOOD has a single owner; an OOD has two or more. The choice affects how decisions are taken and how ownership can change later.
Can a foreign founder register a company in Bulgaria remotely?
In many cases, yes. Depending on your situation, documents can be signed abroad and legalised, or signed by a representative with a power of attorney. We explain the options at the start.
